Flood Plain chat session on 7/27/09

Below is the transcript from our chat session from Monday, July 27 regarding flood plain maps for Garden City and the rest of Finney County. City and county officials were available to chat about changes FEMA has made to the maps that would add about 1,800 Finney County properties to the flood plain.

Specific questions about individual properties that may be affected by flood plain changes should be directed to the city’s Planning and Development Office at 276-1120 or planning@garden-city.org.
