I’m the Finney County Extension Agent for Family and Consumer Sciences, and this is my blog, “Living Well.” The information I share will draw upon my 30 years as an extension agent with K-State Research and Extension, my degree from Kansas State University with a dual major in foods & nutrition and consumer economics, and some interesting personal experiences serving Extension clientele in three counties.
I will be writing about nutrition, economical food selection and preparation, food safety, preventative health and wellness, family financial matters, consumer skills, quality of life and more.
To put it simply, this blog is about “Living Well” – connecting you with resources to help improve your home and family life.
This blog was launched in March 2009 on The Garden City Telegram’s SWKTalk.com website as a way to extend information from the experts at Kansas State University to the people of Finney County and southwest Kansas.
