Sometimes you find links to great information on Twitter, but other times, you run across Tweets that make you smile or laugh out loud because you can relate.

Here are a few of my favorite recent Tweets related to parenting. I hope they make you smile too.

From @sagessa: Alex, in full blown tears: “Take a walk!” How do you explain to a 21 month old that 3am is not the time for playing outside? #toddler

From @anatackett:  Going to an #easter egg hunt this morning. Hopefully my #toddler will understand the meaning of a dozen eggs only. Somehow I doubt it.

From @ Lisa_VanV: Joey still refuses to put clothes on. he’s still in his undies. However, they’re not his original undies. 5th pair. #pottytraining #toddler

From @anythingbutpink:  Just found my #toddler painting her face with toothpaste. Um, yeah.

From @Lisa_VanV:  Just figured out why everything in my fridge keeps going bad. Someone has been playing with cold, colder, coldest switch. #toddler

From @ myfields:  Traveling with a #toddler is always an #adventure. Reading the airplane safety manual was more fun 4 her than the 3 new books I got 4 her

From @HollyES:  toddler just told me he wasn’t enjoying the “wind,” rather it was “fresh air.” #toddler

From @SueCinPdx:  Baking cookies. 3YO says, “Okay, the first thing we do is you get me a chocolate chip from the bowl.”

From @SueCinPdx:  Snuggling with 3YO, explaining the concept of “spooning.” Little contrarian says she wants to be forks, not spoons. #parenting

From @brandeed:  I’ve decided my kids are trying to kill me through lack of sleep. Either that or they wanna make mommy cry! #parenting #sleepdeprived

From @pameloth:  Me to 13 yr old daughter: If you treat your friends like you treat your mother, you’ll have no friends. PMS meets peri-menopause. #parenting

From @shannonphilpott:  I think that my kids have fully recovered from their candy hangovers. #parenting
