Quakenbush: College has come a long way in 90 years

Garden City Community College will have much to celebrate this Sunday when it marks its 90th anniversary with a campus party, according to GCCC Information Services Director Steve Quakenbush.

In this week’s edition of Talk of the Town, Quakenbush explains the humble beginnings of GCCC and how the college has grown since — in its enrollment numbers, campus size, program offerings and role in the community.
